How to use this worksheet

Children work with a carefully structured color the number format while strengthening Number Recognition and Counting at a manageable pace.

How to do it

Talk about the goal of the page, then let the child work at a comfortable pace. Read the number in each row and color exactly that many pictures featuring Suv, Sedan, Convertible Car, and Compact Car, with numbers from 1 to 4.

Easier or harder

Easier: Read the numbers aloud together and model the first problem with real objects.

Challenge: Have the child check each result using the opposite operation or a set of counters.
