How to use this worksheet

The activity presents word families as a practical learning routine that can be repeated without lengthy preparation.

How to do it

Model the first item without giving away the others. Cut out the word cards and glue each one under its word family house (-ig, -in).

Easier or harder

Easier: Allow pointing or verbal answers before asking for pencil work.

Challenge: Have the child complete the page without prompts and describe the strategy used for the most difficult item.
