How to use this worksheet

Children play a classic matching game with picture cards, practising visual memory and turn-taking.

How to do it

Read the direction aloud and do the first item together. Cut out the 12 picture cards featuring Snowball, Ski, Puffer Jacket, and Snow Angel (6 pairs), place them face down and find the matching pairs, reading the picture names as you go.

Easier or harder

Easier: Cover part of the page and complete one row or section at a time.

Challenge: Invite the child to check the page independently and identify the item that required the most thought.
