How to use this worksheet
Built for short and purposeful practice, this page turns before and after numbers into a clear task for school or home learning. In this cut and paste version, children cut out answer cards and glue them in place instead of writing or drawing lines.

How to do it
Model the first item without giving away the others. Find the number that comes immediately before, after, or on both sides of each given number up to 50. Cut out all the cards first, lay each one on its place, check together and glue only at the end.
Easier or harder
Easier: Cut out only the cards for the first two rows, then add the rest once those are glued.
Challenge: Time how long it takes to place all the cards correctly, then try again on a similar page.
